Terms & Conditions

  • Pacific Cross shall allow cancellations and consider refunds for the following: Visa Denial and Cancellation before Policy Effective Date.
  • Visa Denial. Insured should advise Pacific Cross of the visa denial and file a request for refund. A valid denial letter issued by the embassy must also be submitted. Client should submit an e-mail request along with a digital copy (e.g., scanned or photograph) of the embassy denial letter to Mytravelsales@pacificcross.com.ph. Request will be subject to review and approval.
  • Cancellation before the Policy Effective Date. A written request stating the reason for cancellation must be submitted by the Insured and duly received by Pacific Cross. The written request should be sent prior to the Policy Effective date. Requests should be sent to e-mail Mytravelsales@pacificcross.com.ph. Request will be subject to evaluation and approval.
  • Premium will be refunded if above requirements are submitted before the Policy Effective Date. The amount of refund will be the unearned portion; applicable cancellation fee will be deducted from the premium paid.
  • The Insured Person shall comply with official national and local public health guidelines while at the Point of Origin or planned destination/s being visited to minimize the risk of contracting COVID-19.
  • COVID-19 is only covered in its epidemic/pandemic status where specified in the Schedule of Benefits, i.e., In-Patient Medical Treatment Benefit and Hospital Income Benefit. When necessary, Emergency Assistance Benefits cover COVID-19 cases. All other benefits are subject to the epidemic/pandemic exclusion and will not provide coverage for losses that are directly or indirectly related to COVID-19.
  • The cost of the RT-PCR or Antigen COVID-19 test to comply with mandatory testing before departure is not covered.
  • The 30 days Automatic Extension of Period of Insurance will not apply for COVID-19 related claims.
